East Belfast Mission has a long track record of social engagement in the inner East Belfast area. They’ve grown quite a bit since running the church soup kitchen in the 1800s but their mission is still the same: to transform and renew East Belfast.
Growth and success has brought some interesting challenges, including the need to completely modernise their public face as they interact with their various partners, including local community groups, government agencies, funding bodies and corporate sponsors. Queue Whitenoise, who in 2012 was commissioned to completely overhaul their brand, and delivered a solution that honours the past while facing the present and future with confidence.
A complete internal and external branding exercise in their new flagship headquarters, together with a new signage scheme across all their retail properties makes a strong and positive statement as the Mission continues to play its vital role in the community.
