The Irish Congress of Trade Unions is the largest civil society in Ireland, representing and campaigning on behalf of nearly one million working people. The Congress seeks to achieve a just society – one which recognises the rights of all workers and citizens to enjoy the prosperity and fulfilment which leads to a good quality of life.
In 2009 ICTU asked Whitenoise to create a fresh new brand for their ‘Youth Connect’ programme. A schools activity and resource pack, developed with education professionals, was launched with a little help from Molly, the programme mascot plush toy and a lot of hard work from Whitenoise, who masterminded the whole project from launch to delivery, including a content managed website, used by both students and teachers.
Another fascinating project Whitenoise was closely involved in was the H.E.A.P. Project, a national survey of disparity and inequality in earnings, which was launched nationally to great public acclaim with our help in 2010.
