Based at their headquarters in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Kainos is a global software company delivering digital services and platforms to the government, healthcare and private sectors.
Underpinning their global success is a dedication to the support, celebration and growth of their employees. This is reflected in the Kainos Kick Off, an annual event that draws over a thousand Kainos staff from global sites to one event in Belfast city centre. As such, the theme of this year’s Kick Off was “Connecting” - a nod towards the cohesive approach Kainos takes when supporting their clients.
Whitenoise has long supported Kainos with the branding, design elements and filming and photography of the event - with 2019 being no exception. The process of bringing Kick Off to life every year involves the development of the unique event branding, printed materials, film production, installation of visual elements and video production.
For Kick Off 2019, the event was held within the Movie House Cinema on Dublin Road, Belfast. The significance of the location being that Kainos will be building their new headquarters on this iconic site. As a homage to the history of the building Whitenoise created Kick Off branded popcorn bags for delegates, while a huge 3D pop up stand created a backdrop for team photographs.
Lead designer, Corey Watson also created a gallery of 14 movie themed posters - repurposed to illustrate the significance of the company’s move into the Movie House site. Naturally, these posters have since been the subject of a fierce bidding war between staff – which we take total credit for.
Whitenoise designed branding for this year's event, adorning the Ulster Hall with imagery to immerse guests in the School Choir Of The Year experience.
