After their official unveiling yesterday, this morning sees two Translink 'Trainbows' enter regular service. The Trainbows are a very special makeover of two trains in support of the #ChaseTheRainbow campaign sweeping the nation and Whitenoise was proud to support the Translink team with the design and production required to bring this powerful message to the public.
While the majority of us stay at home, these highly impactful mobile messages will remind us to continue to support our essential health and care workers across the nation. Let us know if you spot a Trainbow over the next few weeks!
Encompassing over 220 square meters of printed vinyl and Contravision, allowing completely clear and unimpeded views outside for passengers, the design, printing and wrapping of the two trains was a mammoth task completed in record time by the Whitenoise team and our trusted suppliers, Iris Colour and SignStik. The project was led by Whitenoise director Mark Case who was on hand throughout the entire process from initial design to final fitting, to ensure social distancing protocols were observed throughout.
See below for a visual record of the project, and check back again soon to see drone footage of the first scheduled departure from Translink's Great Victoria Station.
