Our Animation for BBC's 'Feed Yourself Fitter' is Shortlisted for IDI Award

Animated graphics that reflect humour and personality for Stephen Nolan's TV show promoting healthy eating

We are thrilled to announce that our work on Feed Yourself Fitter has been shortlisted for the prestigious Institute of Designers in Ireland Award in the "Design in Motion" category. Partnering with Third Street Studios, we created the identity, titles, and animated graphics for BBC One's food-focused lifestyle show featuring Stephen Nolan.

The project’s design reflects Stephen's personality and humour, combining quirky cut-up visuals with animation to illustrate his journey toward healthier eating. Our team developed original animations that capture Stephen’s fun, self-deprecating style and successfully brought the concept to life within a tight three-week deadline.

We’re incredibly proud of this recognition and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate on such a unique and engaging project.

“We adopted a quirky cut-up style by mixing stills of Stephen and the celebrity chefs featured in each episode with cartoon character body and scene elements. The titles foreshadow Stephen's journey to kick the carbs to the kerb and embrace a healthier eating lifestyle through a miniature Stephen charting a similar course. Every element of this animation is completely original, from concept through to style and storyboard, and most importantly - full of personality.”

- Adam Smyth, Whitenoise Director

"As always, Whitenoise delivered a superb result for our new show. Their levels of energy, fun and personality are off the scale and they were so easy to work with. They are my go-to production house and this identity really stands out amongst the sea of typical and boring show titles.”

- Stephen Nolan, Presenter, BBC Northern Ireland
