Our Design & Re-branding for AST is Shortlisted for IDI Award

A modern and user-friendly brand identity to highlight the importance of storytelling in Northern Ireland

We are delighted to announce that our branding work for the Armstrong Storytelling Trust has been shortlisted for an Institute of Designers in Ireland Award. The Trust, which promotes the art of storytelling across Northern Ireland, approached us to develop a modern brand identity that reflected its deep history and cultural mission while ensuring accessibility for its older demographic.

Our approach involved thorough collaboration with stakeholders to understand their goals and create a visual identity that was both adaptable and user-friendly. We designed a new logo, colour palette, typeface, and imagery guidelines, which were rolled out through inclusive workshops to empower the Trust's team to take full ownership of their new brand.

We’re proud of this recognition and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a project that bridges heritage with modernity and inclusivity.

We are thrilled to announce that our brand refresh project with Whitenoise, has been shortlisted for the prestigious IDI Irish Design Awards! While we are delighted, we aren’t surprised.

When we approached Whitenoise, we sought a new brand identity that would truly capture the essence of our charity – the dynamic and rich heritage of oral storytelling. The Whitenoise team took the time to listen and expertly transformed our vision into a compelling, timeless design that we absolutely love.

The result is a brand that is simple, adaptable, and built to last. The process was seamless, and it was a pleasure working with the talented team at Whitenoise. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
