We are proud to announce that our No Matter What campaign for the Equality Commission Northern Ireland (ECNI) has been shortlisted for the Institute of Designers in Ireland Award in the "Design for Good" category. This impactful campaign is aimed to raise awareness about the changes to human rights in Northern Ireland after Brexit and how ECNI supports individuals affected by these changes.
Our challenge was to communicate the complex impact of Brexit on civil rights, such as disability access, equality rights, and environmental protection, which were previously governed by EU law. Through research and collaboration with ECNI, we developed a compelling public awareness campaign that utilised bold design, animation, and video to reassure the public and highlight available support services.
The campaign featured six real individuals representing key target groups, including sexuality, race, gender, and disability. We produced over 70 assets for digital and print, ensuring the campaign adhered to WCAG accessibility guidelines. Materials were also translated into multiple languages to reach diverse communities.
We are thrilled that this campaign continues to make a significant social impact, increasing public engagement with ECNI and promoting vital human rights protections.
