Whitenoise announced as finalists in BITC’s Responsible Business Awards 2025

Recognition of our "Collaborative Action" in 2024-2025

The results are in!

Whitenoise are delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist in the 2025 Responsible Business Awards, run by Business in the Community Northern Ireland.

We’ve been recognised in the Collaborative Action Award category - acknowledging organisations that go beyond their core business to work with others in making a real, measurable difference to society and the environment.

Our entry focused on Design for Good, an initiative we developed to formally offer discounted or pro bono creative support - branding, animation, strategy and more - to charities, NGOs and socially-minded organisations doing brilliant, often under-resourced work.

Examples of our Design for Good work include ongoing brand and campaign support for RNIB NI, alongside practical volunteering at their Technology Fair and co-creating a high-impact public awareness campaign.

We have also supported Ulster Wildlife in communicating the importance of Nature Recovery Networks across Northern Ireland.

Design for Good has also benefitted Too Young To Wed, a global NGO tackling child marriage, with our team creating donor materials that deliver real impact.

And our support doesn't stop there: Whitenoise's team volunteer our time with Cancer Fund for Children and The Conservation Volunteers - whether through mural painting, planting saplings, or simply lending extra hands when needed.

“At Whitenoise, we believe that creativity has the power to drive meaningful change, and being recognised for this is a proud moment for our team. Design for Good isn’t just an initiative, it’s our commitment to using design as a force for positive impact.”

- Clarke Duddy, Managing Director, Whitenoise

To date, we’ve donated more than £11,000 in creative services, produced over 400 pieces of collateral and dedicated more than 300 hours of team time in support of Design for Good partners. The impact has been real—on our partners, on our people, and on our own business.

This recognition by the awards judges means a lot. As a small, close-knit studio, we care deeply about the work we do and who we do it for. We’re proud to stand alongside other businesses pushing for better, and grateful to all our partners who’ve trusted us to help tell their stories.

Congratulations to all the other finalists, and we look forward to the results at the gala event in September!
